Lindale used to have a mill fed by a mill pond. Two streams fed the pond. One by the church and this one, Lindale Beck. The former did not need diverting, this latter did. By damming the beck, a feed was created through a sluice to the mill pond.

Park on road next to waterfall.

When first photographed foliage obscured the fall. Someone has cut back the foliage to reveal the fall.
