The Silver Slipper, originally the Golden Slipper due to a naming conflict, stood on South Las Vegas Blvd, next to The Frontier Hotel, from 1950 until 1988.
Howard Hughes bought the casino, and due to paranoia, had the slipper removed.
The Neon Boneyard "rescued" the Silver Slipper, restored it, and put it on display.
It is currently number 2 on the Neon Map of Las Vegas.
