A nice little wooded reserve in the heart of Thirlmere where you can picnic, or go for a stroll or a cycle and hear the beautiful wildlife calling from above.
The Hon. Alan Robert Lindsay ‘Lin’ Gordon was an Australian politician. After a tour of the shire in 1982, Mr Gordon dedicated $5,000 towards the establishment of the reserve.
Mr Gordon joined the Australia Labor Party in 1962 and served as the Labor member for Murrumbidgee in the NSW Legislative Assembly from 1970 to 1984.
