There is a gargoyle at each corner of the tower of St John's Chapel. They are in very good condition and may have been recently replaced as there is a scheme underway to replace Cambridge gargoyles. A spout cannot be seen coming from the gargoyle's mouth but the mouth is open so it may be used to shed water.
