The concrete deck is about 45 m long, and of a semi-cantilever style, with steel tie rods off a steel "A-Frame"(about 20 m tall) to suspend the deck.
On the southern end of the bridge, in a guard railed round-about, is an embedded block, with the eight steel tie-rods bolted down.
There is a road sign on the northern side warning that the Suspension Bridge is rated to a vehicular gross 30 tonnes weight, and a maximum weight per axle of 10 tonnes. There is a STOP sign here, to ensure that vehicles will be travelling in one direction at a time.

"You probably have seen this bridge when driving along the highway to uni. This bridge actually connects up the UWS Werrington North and South campuses and can be used by anyone.
There's some pretty cool views you can see from here, including the Blue Mountains."
I certainly agree. And there is also a trig point just 'north' of the bridge (TP5727 - Quarry), and an "Astronomical Observatory" Waymark 0.5 km away, also on the University campus.
