This sculpture is on the Smithsonian Art Inventory
There is a plaque which says: "Presented to the people of Elmira by the Elmira Rotary Club July 4, 1980 75th anniversary Rotary International Designed & built by Ernest Schweitzer"
There are two Rotary International emblems on the plaque.
