This transformation-station has been build in the 1920s. It is used for providing electricity to the citizens in the western part of Neuwied. It is made from basalt and has an extraordinary architecture. The building is surrounded with columns made from basalt. The roof is in the style of a tent. The cabels in and out of the building are in the underground. This unusual design let the building look more like a classic building than a functional building as a transformation station.
Creation date: in 1920s
