Wesentliche Fortschritte brachten in Brück die Errichtung einer Postagentur am 15. Mai 1897 und vor allem der Weiterbau der Unteren Ahrtalbahn von Altenahr nach Adenau. So erhielt Brück im Jahr 1887 einen Bahnhof.
1991 wurde das ehemalige Empfangsgebäude und der Güterschuppen des Bahnhofs Brück (Ahr) als Bürgerhaus mit zwei Sälen und zwei Wohnungen eröffnet.
Seit 1996 ist der ehemalige Bahnhof Brück (Ahr) unter dem Namen Ahrbrück als Haltepunkt der Unteren Ahrtalbahn wieder in Betrieb. 1985 war der Personenverkehr eingestellt worden.

Der Haltepunkt Ahrbrück (ehem. Bahnhof Brück (Ahr)) liegt an der Unteren Ahrtalbahn (KBS 477[6]) Remagen – Ahrbrück, auf der im Personennahverkehr die „Rhein-Ahr-Bahn“ (RB 30) verkehrt. Der Schienenpersonennahverkehr (SPNV) wird von der DB Regio AG, Region NRW durchgeführt, die Dieseltriebwagen des Typs Alstom Coradia LINT einsetzt.

Der Bahnhof Brück (Ahr) wurde 1912 bei dem zweigleisigen Ausbau der Ahrtalbahn errichtet und als solcher bis zur Stillegung 1985 genutzt.
Erst vor wenigen Jahren wurde im Rahmen des Rheinland-Pfalz-Taktes Ahrbrück als Haltepunkt 1996 für den Personverkehr reaktiviert. Dazu wurde ein neuer Bahnsteig gebaut.
Leider wurde dabei das noch vorhandene Ladegleis und die Weichen ausgebaut.
In der Nacht vom 23. auf den 24.12 1999 wurde die Strecke nach Hönningen mit einer Sh2 Scheibe gesperrt. Seit dem 1.1.2000 gilt die Reststrecke als stillgelegt.
Im Mai 2001 wurde der nun funktionslose Prellbock in Hönningen aus- und in Ahrbrück wieder eingebaut.

Unfortunately, this still present loading track and the course was expanded.
In the night from 23 to 24.12 in 1999, the route was blocked by Hönningen with Sh2 disc. Since 1.1.2000 the remaining distance is considered decommissioned.
In May 2001, the now functionless Prellbock was removedin Hönningen and it was was reinstalled in Brück.
