Het station werd geopend op 1 november 1868. Dit was een standaardtype dat in meerdere plaatsen langs de spoorlijn Utrecht – 's-Hertogenbosch werd gebouwd. Dit station werd gesloten in 1935, het gebouw bleef bewaard en heet nu Het Oude Station.
Verplaatsing
Omdat voor dit gebouw bij de spoorverdubbeling geen plaats was, maar het cultuurhistorische waarde heeft (het is het enige van dit type dat nog bestaat), is dit stationsgebouw in 2007 verplaatst naar een locatie 150 meter zuidelijker langs het spoor, waar het een nieuwe functie kreeg als dagbestedingscentrum voor mensen met een verstandelijke beperking.
Eerst werd het station opgevijzeld naar 2,8 meter. Het opvijzelen begon op 8 augustus 2007. Op 24 augustus 2007 werd het gebouw naar de nieuwe locatie gereden. Na een restauratie werd het in april 2009 in gebruik genomen.

The station was opened on 1 November 1868. This was a standard type station built along the railway Utrecht - 's –Hertogenbosch. This station was closed in 1935 , the building was preserved and is now called The Old Station.

Because the railway track was doubled, and the historical value of the building it was moved in 2007 to a location 150 meters south along the track.
