The Fernie Chamber of Commerce/Visitor Centre is just off Hwy. 3 on Commerce Street NE of downtown.

This is an interesting visitor centre offering a large of selection of maps, brochures and other local and regional information. There is also a nature center with displays, it is just off the main lobby.
Also outside of the visitor centre are several historic displays including the Fernie derrick.
The derrick is the last standing wooden oil derrick in BC. The metal components of the rig were used to drill the first oil wells in British Columbia.
They have a retail boutique showcasing local Fernie products and souvenirs gifts
Faxing, photocopying and scanning are available.
RV services including sani-dump, water, garbage and recycling
Public washrooms.
