This house built in 1890 was built for Robert H. Stockton, the founder of the Majestic Stove Company, and donor to Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, renamed in his honor. The house was desiged by Barnett, Haynes & Barnet in a Romanesque Revival style.
