Trayambakeshwar Temple is one of the important holy shrines in Rishikesh. The temple is a 13-storied building considered as the abode of Lord Shiva as the name Trayambakeshwar means ‘The Abode Of Three-Eyed’. There are different Hindu deities inside the temple and many sections which comprise of Vedic and religious works.
The temple gets flocked by a number of devotees and other travelers who come to visit Laxman Jhula, the suspension bridge. Trayambakeshwar is not only visited to seek blessings, but also to enjoy the scenic surrounding formed by striking Himalayan ranges.
