John Francis Dodge (Oct. 25, 1864 – Jan. 14, 1920)
Horace Elgin Dodge (May 17, 1868 – Dec. 10, 1920)
Description: The Dodge brothers began supplying auto parts to Henry Ford and the Ford Motor Company in 1903 from their factory in Hamtramck, MI. After 11 years, the brothers founded the Dodge Brothers Motor Car Company in 1914. The first Dodge car rolled off the line on Nov. 14, 1914. After their deaths in 1920, the Dodge Brothers Motor Car Company was sold to the Chrysler Corporation in 1928.
