Gargoyles at the corners of Holy Trinity church tower.
The church was built in 1866 by architects Richard Charles Hussey (Nave and Aisles) and Joseph Clark (Nave) - the latter was added at a later date. It is built of Kentish Rag and Bath Stone and initially used as a fund raising venue and school and was not consecrated until 1873.
