Developed in 1984, this camp has 3 cabins to house the participants.
They are capable of continuing their education even when raining, by having an indoor climbing wall; as well as an abseiling wall, where prussiking could also be practised.
For the school groups, there are separate shower/toilet blocks for the teachers, from the students.
All accommodation, meals, and instruction for activities is provided by the friendly staff of Camp Goodenough.
As to the name of the camp, the original owners of the property, were the Goodenoughs (believe it, or not), and one of their four daughters (no sons) - Joan Tunstall, decided to continue their family name, with the name of ropes course camp.
