Many streets in Baie-Comeau are named after famous persons in the history of Québec and Canada. But this one stands out.
During the Seven Years War (known as the French and Indian War in the United States). General Wolfe commanded the British troops in the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City in 1759. General Montcalm commanded the French Troops.
History books tells us that the British won the battle, but both generals lost their lives during the battle.
Here they meet again, on a street corner in Baie-Comeau, Québec.
