Originally the Mandurah War Memorial was located on the western bank of the estuary, on the corner of Mary Street and Old Coast Road. In 1997 due to roadwork the original memorial was removed, remodelled and
installed at the City of Mandurah RSL sub-branch,on the corner of Anzac Place and Third Avenue.
There are 4 plaques on the monument dedicated to Servicewomen, all falen troops, the Unknown Soldier and the Korean War.
