Manhattan - Services for Elizabeth LuAnn (Powers) Wilderson, 42, Corvallis, Ore., will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel, Manhattan. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, southeast of Manhattan.
Mrs. Wilderson died Monday, March 12, 2001, at Corvallis (Ore.) Manor Nursing Home of ovarian cancer.
She was born April 5, 1958, in Manhattan, the daughter of Lyonel Felix and Uteva Edna (Pfeffer) Powers. She grew up in Manhattan and attended Green Valley Elementary and Manhattan Junior High. She graduated from Manhattan High School in 1976, and earned a bachelor's degree in history from Kansas University. She moved to Corvallis, Ore., in 1990 from Lawrence.
Mrs. Wilderson was a library technician for the Valley Library at Oregon State University.
She married Robert Leo Wilderson on May 5, 1979, in Manhattan. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include her mother, Uteva Powers, Manhattan; a sister, Sharon Powers, Independence, Mo.; and a brother, John Powers, Wamego.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
