Der Merkur-Brunnen steht vor der Messe in der Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage. Der Bankier Anton L.A. Hahn stiftete 1909 den Brunnen, realisiert wurde er aber erst 1916 - durch seine Söhne Louis Alfred und Ludwig Arnold zum Andenken an den Vater.
Auf einem steinernen Brunnenstock steht die lebensgroße Bronze des römischen Gottes der Kaufleute und Diebe Merkur. Sie ist nackt, trägt auf dem Kopf typischen geflügelten Hut und wägt mit den Händen einen Beutel mit Goldstücken. Das Brunnenbecken des neoklassizistischen Zierbrunnens ist eine monolithische Granitschale über deren Rand das Wasser läuft. Allerdings war der Brunnen in den letzten Sommern nicht mehr in Betrieb.

The Mercury Fountain is just around the fairground in the Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage. The banker Anton L.A. Hahn donated the fountain in 1909, but it was not realized until 1916 - by his sons Louis Alfred and Ludwig Arnold in memory of the father.
On a stone pedestal stands the life-size bronze of Mercury, the Roman god of merchants and thieves. He is naked, wearing on his head typical winged hat and weigh with his hands a bag of gold coins. The fountain basin of the neoclassical decorative fountain is a monolithic granite bowl on which edge the water flows. However, the fountain was no longer in operation in recent summers.
