The M60 Patton tank was first delivered to the US army in 1960. Over the next 35 years its three variants, produced by the Detroit Arsenal Tank Plant division of Chrysler, were used by no fewer than 24 different countries.
The last US Army variants were phased out of service in 2005. Currently there are 13 countries still using M60 variants.
The Patton on display is an M60A3.
The Post and tank may be reached by following Spring Road east from SR 365 just north of Verona.
Location restrictions: Available for view 24/7 however, the Post conducts services at various times throughout the year. Conduct yourself accordingly.
