Pioneer Park is the largest public park in the area and is located on Ponderosa Avenue near 4th Street. The playground is located near the lakeside.

Kaleden is a small community with approximately 1.200 residents. On a sunny day children can come and play in this enclosed area. There are jungle gyms, swings, monkey bars and other great places to climb and scamper about in the sand.
Pioneer Park offers sandy public beaches bordering Skaha Lake. You can float raft on the lake and there are also tennis courts, BBQ areas, basketball courts, children's playground and enjoy a picnic under large trees. Public washrooms are also available. There is an easy access from the park to the Kettle Valley walking and biking trail.
