"Planta irregular sem coincidência com o exterior, com um pequeno espaço ajardinado no interior. Volumes articulados com massas dispostas na horizontal em 2 e 3 pisos, dispondo de cave. Coberturas diferenciadas em telhado de duas águas nos corpos da frente principal, coruchéu cónico no corpo que articula estes últimos e terraço no restante imóvel. Fachadas rebocadas e pintadas de branco; embasamento, cornija, mísulas e molduras de vão em cantaria; Frente principal com fachadas voltadas a N. e a E., articuladas na esquina por um corpo de secção circular com embasamento e rematado pelo coruchéu cónico cumeado por esfera armilar, com um portal de verga recta com moldura em cantaria circunscrita por filete, e sobreposta por uma mísula ao centro, lendo-se na verga "CAIXA GERAL DE DEPÓSITOS" em letras de metal; portal sobreposto por duas janelas idênticas dispostas verticalmente e axialmente ao portal, com verga recta e moldura de cantaria; Fachada N. com embasamento e remate em duplo beirado com três linhas de rasgamento de 4 vãos cada, assentando a terceira sobre um entablamento com 4 mísulas suspensas e cornija pronunciada; primeira linha com janelas altaneiras de verga recta e moldura de cantaria encimada por mísula ao centro, rasgando inferiormente o embasamento; segunda e terceira linhas com janelas idênticas às do corpo da esquina. Fachada O. igual à última fachada, contando porém com 7 janelas por linha de rasgamento de vãos; à direita da fachada encontra-se um corpo recuado com um amplo vão de acesso ao interior com portadas de metal e vidro precedido de rampa e degraus, enquando superiormente se abre um janelão de configuração irregular; um pouco acima da meia altura das fenestrações inferiores desta frente passa uma faixa pintada de amarelo. Frente posterior correspondendo a um corpo de aspecto maciço com embasamento, remate recto e com o canto SE. arredondado, apresentando uma reentrância à esquerda onde se abre um vão de acesso ao interior com portadas de metal e vidro encimado por janelão; a parede lateral esquerda desta reentrância descreve uma curva sendo rasgada em quase toda a altura por um janelão de forma irregular. INTERIOR: alçados rebocados e pintados de branco ou revestidos a mármore, com rodapé em madeira, pavimentos em mármore, pilares de sustentação e tectos falsos. Caixilharias e portas em madeira. Piso térreo com amplo espaço interior destinado ao atendimento ao público. Pisos superiores compartimentados em várias salas e gabinetes por paredes ou divisórias. Último piso com varanda sobranceira aos terraços e com uma sala de conferências revestida a madeira e pavimento em alcatifa, dispondo de um pequeno estrato para a mesa dos oradores e plateia com declive pouco acentuado com cadeiras amovíveis com capacidade para 54 pessoas. Elevador e escadas situados no corpo que se articula a S. da frente principal."
