This model of Venus is part of Solar System model in Zagreb that is called Nine Views. The model Nine Views is actually an ambiental installation that together with the sculpture The Grounded Sun represents a consistent, scale model of the Solar System.
The Grounded Sun sculpture was made first back in 1971 and 33 years later (in 2004) artist Davor Preis made planets and added them to existing Sun model, creating the complete model of Solar System. The entire model is to-scale both by size and by distance.
The entire model is at scale 1:680,000,000, both by size and by distance. Sun's model is about 2 meters, Earth's model is about 1.9 cm in size and at 225 m distance from the Sun's model, while Pluto's model is 8.7 kilometers away from the Sun's model.
