Sadly, Sunrise Memorial Cemetery has fallen victim to vandalism and has suffered the effect of the West Coast drought as well. Over 7,000 internments are located here.

Sunrise Memorial Cemetery is home to a Medal of Honor recipient, a Masonic cemetery section and a veterans cemetery section. Unfortunately, this cemetery has suffered from severe vandalism with many broken headstones located throughout the property. In addition, the drought conditions of the past number of years has caused the landscaping to suffer and the grounds look dry and neglected.
FindaGrave.com lists at least 7,000 internments here. There is also an older cemetery site on top of a hillside formally known as Old Hillside Cemetery. A small number of graves are located there as well as a number of veterans graves. I read that many graves from the older cemetery were moved downhill to the newer part section.
Surprisingly, I was able to locate a Woodman of the World headstone, a few zinc headstones and a broken column headstone here.
