WIDT 1J23 2002, WI, is a Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WIDT) survey disk located along the southeast side of State Highway 26 about 7.0 miles northeast of downtown Janesville, Rock County, WI. The disk is mounted flush with the surface in the top of a round, concrete monument. It is about 0.75 miles south-southwest of the intersection of State Highway 26 and State Highway 59 in the town of Milton, about 0.39 miles northeast of the intersection of State Highway 26 and East Milton-Harmont Townline Road leading southeast, 126.0 feet northeast of a right-of-way post, 77.4 feet east-southeast of the centerline of the northbound lanes of State Highway 26, 9.8 feet west-northwest of the edge of a cultivated field, and about 3.3 feet above the level of the highway pavement. The station is flanked on three sides by white WIDT witness posts. The disk was monumented by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation in 2001, and is stamped 1J23 2002. It is in the National Geodetic Survey database at PID = DF9681 (
visit link) . To reach from Exit 171 off Interstate Highway 39 and 90, go northeast on State Highway 26 for about 3.5 miles to East Milton-Harmony Townline Road leading southeast.
