Built of irregularly shaped stone, giving the appearance of flint, with possibly cotswold stone surrounds to the windows, doorway, and the building's corners. There is a central entrance, with a stone canopy sheltering the doorway, and long round-arched windows on either side.
There are two plaques above the door, an oblong, immediately above the doorway, and a larger lozenge-shaped one which reads "Baptist Chapel / 1909". Not sure the relevance of this date as a Chapel is shown on Old Maps earlier than this, for instance OS 1881 1:2,500 - "Baptist Chapel (Particular)" . Uncertain as to when the Chapel became lived in, has been suggested in the 1980’s?
