This was found while on a 'rogaining' long weekend, with a local Pathfinder group - from Port Macquarie. It was known as Waypoint 212, and worth 200 points, with a description of "Trig", so it was a real bonus to this waymarker/trig hunter.
Access: From the Oxley Highway head north east on Kangaroo Flat (dirt) Road to Kangaroo Flat camping area, then head more northerly on Youdales Trail past Horse Camp to the Kunderang Wilderness Area. Not suitable for vehicles with trailers, and 4wd recommended (if going further).
Right next to the intact trig is the original stone cairn, with a portion of the wooden post, and the old vanes are resting there also.
