Der Turm befindet sich in dem 600 Seelen Dorf Ailertchen an einer Strassenecke und steht auf einer gut gepflegten Wiese. Die Trafostation ist noch in Betrieb (Stand 2015).
Auffällig ist die Aussenverkleidung. Schön sind die verwendeten Materialien nicht, der Handwerker hat sich jedoch bei der Anordnung der einzelnen Ziegel viel Mühe gegeben.
