There are actually 2 barns on this property, however the most prominent of the 2 displays and eagle and the name of the farm on the side.

The complex consists of 2 barns, 2 houses and various Ells all connecting the buildings into one continuous structure. The farm began with by Thomas Skolfield coming from Ireland in 1757 acquiring the land the farm is located on. His eldest son Clement and his son, George built the first house on the land and the older of the two barns. George was also known as Master George. His son George Roger and grandson Daniel T, built the remaining parts of the structures. The decendents of the the Skilfield's still own and occupy the property today.
