In Marshfield, along Hollister Hill Road, is the Hollister Hill Farm Bed and Breakfast.
The B&B is located on a gently sloping hill providing good views all around. There are several roads from U.S. 2 in both Plainfield and Marshfield that can get you there - follow the directions on their web site. The farm is on both sides of the road.
The farm house is the B&B. It is a brick building 2 1/2 stories tall. There is a door in the front yard, and another entrance through a porch off the side toward the parking lot. There are 3 1/2 bedrooms (one is a small room that is connected to one of the rooms, plus a 'Little House' that is attached to the house, but the entrance is not directly connected. There is also a common room with books and games. There is no TV, but Wi-fi is available. Breakfast is also provided, with many of the ingredients coming from the farm, itself.
Activities to do while there depend on the season. In the winter, you could snow show or cross country ski around the far and nearby trails. In the spring, if the maple sap is running, you can help with the maple sugaring. At all times of the year, you can visit the farm animals and pet many of them. There are cows, pigs, chickens and even barn cats.
Personally, I have been there, but it has been a few years. I'm sure the rooms and the hospitality are as great as they were when I was there.
