"The Steelworks Museum is housed in the former 1901 CF&I Medical Dispensary. It features exhibits related to all facets of steelmaking and coal mining in the West, as well as the CF&I Mine Rescue Car Number 1, the only remaining wooden mine rescue railroad car in the United States."
"The Steelworks Center of the West, originally established in 2000 as the Bessemer Historical Society, in Pueblo, Colorado, operates the Steelworks Museum and Steelworks Archives. Currently under development is the Steelworks Park, an outdoor space featuring large steel mill artifacts, and a future multi-use Steelworks Center to be built in the fully restored former 1901 CF&I Main Administration Building."
"The Steelworks Center of the West provides continuing education to the public through the preservation of historic archives, artifacts and buildings of the Colorado Fuel and Iron Company (CF&I), and related activities leading to the industrialization of the entire Western United States. The Steelworks Center accomplishes this by collecting, preserving and exhibiting collections of the steel and mining industry, Pueblo’s Bessemer neighborhood, and the contributions and impacts working families in those industries made in the industrial West."
