A prominent old sundial on a stone house greets you as you enter the village of Orlhaguet on D 537 in the upper Truyère river, The dial fits the space between the upper windows well.

The sundial has a round face in a rectangular frame. It is a vertical dial declining about 16° west of south. The canted gnomon and hour lines fron 9 am to 5 pm indicate it is correctly designed as a afternoon dial showing local solar time. It is an old dial with a black mold patina but the hour lines and numerals are clear.
Sundial Type: Vertical - Wall mounted dial plate
