The Texas Trail of Fame website (see link) has a depiction of President Roosevelt, along with this short biography:
Before he was governor of New York and our 26th president, Roosevelt found a life he loved as a cowboy. He was a deputy sheriff in the Dakota Badlands. In the war against Spain, Roosevelt recruited his "Rough Riders" and led his charge up San Juan Hill to become a national hero and legend. Roosevelt visited Fort Worth in 1911 and opened the Feeders and Breeders Show at Cowtown Coliseum.
