Located in historic Ross Cemetery, family cemetery of Principal Chief John Ross, stands this granite headstone for Luther Leon Blair. One side of the headstone has two large hearts with his name and his wife's, and various country engravings of a cowboy and horse, a horse, boots and hat.
The back side of the headstone is engraved with a country scene showing a long line of electric poles and a lineman atop one doing repairs. A poem is engraved which reads:
"God needs Lineman too / Leon was a power lineman, he worked so very hard, he loved the work he did, to him it wasn't just a job. A power outage happened they didn't know what to do. God said I'll send for Leon he's the man to lead this crew. It made our hearts so heavy but we had to let him go, but now we cast our eyes above at twilight's last glow and see the lights of evening begin to come on cause it's lineman like Leon that is there to keep them on."
