"The jail, constructed of uncut stone, was built in 1848." Virginia: a Guide to the Old Dominion, Oxford University Press, 1941 The building today is now used as office space for the current county government building next door. Access is not permitted unless you know someone in the county system or request to enter. The building is no longer in use.
