A truss bridge that crosses the river appearing to be a pedestrian bridge, however it could have been used for vehicles as well. It is a truss bridge with a wood deck and pretty narrow for vehicles. The Rockdale Mill built in 1856 employed upwards of 900 people during its heyday. Historic maps of the Rockdale Mill show warehouses on across from the mill proper and this would have been a natural way to move cotton goods from the mill for storage.
