You can wander around this museum at any time during daylight hours. It is on the site of the former railway station grounds but the track has long been ripped up.
The guard's van has been restored & you can walk around it but only enter it when museum volunteers are present. My late father was a guard on the Queensland Railways & I often accompanied him as a child in the guard's van. There are plenty of other attractions on the grounds, both rail & agricultural related.
