La clôture sur le périmètre avant du Lake Side Cemetery comporte deux portes en fer forgé pour la circulation piétonnière. Elles sont peintes noir et dans un état impeccable. L'une d'elles, celle la plus à l'ouest, se démarque par son arche arborant le nom du cimetière.
Deux colonnes en béton supporte les deux battants au pourtour en fer plat et des barreaux carrés se terminant en pointe de flèche à leur extrémité supérieure. Deux grandes barres en diagonale et aux bouts arrondis renforcent les battants. La barre horizontale avec pointes de flèche au centre des deux battant permet de garder la porte fermée.
L'arche au dessus de cette porte est ce qui la démarque. Elle est constituée de fer forgé plat avec une grande quantité des motifs à volutes et deux motifs en carré fermé, tous en fer plat également.
ENGLISH :
The fence around the perimeter of the Lake Side Cemetery has two wrought iron gates for pedestrian traffic on it's front side. They are painted black and in immaculate condition. One of them, the one furthest to the west, is characterized by its arch bearing the name of the cemetery.
Two concrete columns support the two leaves of the door formed of flat iron and square bars ending arrowhead at their upper end. Two large diagonal flat bars with rounded ends reinforce the doors. The horizontal bar with arrowheads at the center of two leaves are used to keep the door closed.
The arch above the door is what sets it apart. It consists of flat wrought iron and plenty of volute motives with two closed squares. All of this in wrought iron, like the rest of this unique gate.
