The train station of Fiesch opened in 1915 as part of the Furka-Oberalp-Bahn (FO) on the line from Brig to Gletsch. The railway line was completed in 1926. FO merged in 2003 with BVZ to form the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn.
The station is served by two trains per hour to Göschenen or Brig, Visp or Zermatt. There are also several bus lines from here to the villages in the surrounding valleys.
