The Texas Historical Marker provides some background:
"The Canton Herald" has been in continuous operation since 1882. Ellis Campbell (1882-1945), publisher of the "Wills Point Chronicle," purchased the "Herald" in 1915. Campbell and his wife Mary Jane (Gilmore) built a family publishing business that eventually extended into several generations. Operating from offices at this site and printing facilities in Wills Point, the newspaper has played an active role in the community for over a century, keeping citizens informed of local news events.

A photograph that depicts your presence at the building is necessary. This can be a picture of your GPSr in the foreground in only one of your many pictures, or if you're not too camera shy, put you or a team member in the picture. Maybe even buy a newspaper while they're still in business. They need all the help they can get. No picture, no new log. And no icon.
