The Homeworth Masonic Lodge was chartered in 1875 and was approved by the Grand Lodge. The very early meetings were held at the Alliance, Ohio Conrad Lodge. From 1907 until 1911 meetings were held in the King Building which was the to become the railroad depot. In 1911 meetings were held in Homeworth Town Hall until it was destroyed by fire on May 15, 1947. It was decided to build a lodge solely by the Masons. On Oct. 12, 1947 the cornerstone was laid on the new building and the first meeting was held in July 1948. Dedication was held on Dec. 17, 1949. In 1960 the concrete block building was faced in red brick. The membership grew to 203 in 1958 and as of 2003 the membership is 136.
