The maps are of a standard format. The "you are here" is located at the centre of the lower map. A circle is drawn, with the "you are here " at its centre and indicates a distance equal to a 5 minute walk. The upper map shows a circle the equivalent to a 5 minute cycle ride or a fifteen minute walk.
The map is orientated head-up so that the top of the map indicates the direction ahead of where the map is being viewed from.
