A Distinguished American
Born in this house, May 1, 1883, Manley O. Hudson began his education at the little school house across the street. After serving as professor of International Law at Harvard University, he was appointed the Hon. Council to the Hag by President Roosevelt in 1916. Manley's father was a physician, practiced here 1883 - 1893.

I visit old town a lot. I am a member of the American Legion Riders and a chapter meets at the legion hall down here.


Other information about area:
This are called "Old Town: is the original downtown of St. Peters, when all residents were Missourians and population was always 5,000 or under. Now only visited for a few old stores and the annual carnival held in the OLD park. As the marker states, the school house he attended is still there (photo in gallery).
