• Features of the building include its limestone walls, recessed bays of windows, giant fluted pilasters in high relief, and the fluted cornice.
• There are Canadian crests on each of the street-facing sides. The interior public areas include highly detailed marble walls, plaster ceilings and terrazzo floors.
• Federal Heritage Building.
• Designated on the Windsor Heritage Register but unenforceable under Federal ownership. Named in 1994 for Paul Martin, member of Parliament from Windsor for 33 years, and whose son Paul Martin was Prime Minister from 2003-06.
