This is the scenic overlook from the Kloster Michelsberg in Bamberg. You see the city panorama and the mountain range east from city.

The panorama is in direction east. You see the old city, and the mountain ranges surrounding the city from the east side. There's a monocular nearby, which you can use for 50 cents.

You can reach that place either from the narrow path from the south, or from the main entrance to the garden on the west side.

The height, according to my GPS, is 284 m over see level.
