La Société Astronomique de Touraine a organisé les 7, 8 et 9 juin 2013 la première édition des Nuits Astronomiques de Touraine sur son site de l'Observatoire de Tauxigny, situé à 25 km de Tours. Depuis 4 ans la Région Centre soutien cette association d'utilité publique. Grâce au dispositif de soutien de l'emploi en milieu associatif Cap'Asso, un animateur est salarié au sein de cette association.

The Astronomical Society of Touraine had held on 7, 8 and 9 June 2013 the first edition of Astronomical Nights Touraine on its site of the Observatory of Tauxigny, located 25 km from Tours. For 4 years the Central Region support this non-profit association. With employment support device Cap'Asso associations, a facilitator is employed within this association.
