This spring is located in Lorenzer Reichswald, south from Feucht, east form Ludwig-Main-Donau-Kanal. The little spring has its beginning in the Burgsandstein rocks.

Burgsandstein is the limestone art, with red hue, very common in the surrounding of Nurnbmerg. The name comes from the Burg in Nurnberg, that was built mostly from those rocks.
The little spring is located near the stairs on the hike trail, in the direct vicinity of the information board.
