The first jump and swing officially took place at Oribi Gorge on the 15th June 2002.

The plunge from the edge of Lehr's waterfall to the gorge below is 165 metres, and you accelerate to 120km/h in under 3 seconds.

Wild5 Adventures have been operating at Oribi Gorge since 1997.
There are abseiling and zip line options too for those not adventurous enough for the rope jump.
