This unexpected grave along the Great Ocean Road is the final resting place of two young children who drowned nearby in 1850.

Most people don't notice it and don't know about it, but just a couple of metres from one of the most popular tourist roads in the world (the Great Ocean Road) is this out of place grave.
It is the final resting place of William Lindsay (aged 8) and Joseph Lindsay (aged 4). The two boys, children of local timber logger William Lindsay, drowned nearby in the Erskine River in 1850.
