The botanical garden was built between 1831 and 1843 through the generosity of John Anthyme Margueron.
In the aviary located at the center of the garden, you will be able to see parrots, parakeets (ondulées, Pennant) and canaries.
The access to the aviary are free ; However, the opening to the public is:
- Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 11:30 am and from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm,
- Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
